Alaea Hawaiian Sea Salt


This salt is unrefined, mineral rich, and quite beautiful with its distinctly ochre color.

Traditionally used to cleanse and purify homes, boats and tools, it is today used to bring color and flavor to dishes of all kinds.

Use: Use sparingly on seafood dishes, and more abundantly on fire-roasted meats. Beautiful on any light colored food that allows the deep ochre color to stand out. For an interesting dynamic, sprinkle on to melon, peaches or, to keep it Hawaiian, freshly cut pineapple.
